its first Learning Center in Bangalore in 2001 with the vision of
helping children of underprivileged backgrounds. Christel House
India are committed to provide comprehensive, holistic development
program that will help children realize their fullest potential.
Through a broad program that provides an education, food, medical
care and guidance into adulthood, Christel House India is creating
tomorrow’s leaders.
The Christel House Clinic was started as a part of the Dr.
Mathai’s Holistic Homoeopathy Clinic network in Bangalore.
Soukya Foundation provides regular medical consultation free of
charge along with guidance to preventive medicine and nutrition to
about 1,000 children here.
There has been considerable improvement in the immunity levels of
children since the clinic was established in 2007 and this has
helped in improving the level of attendance and performance by the
children.

Mandir Educational Trust, Hella Nagar, Bangalore.
The clinic is functioning since
July 2008. Shishu Mandir is a school for underprivileged. They have
about 200 children. The school’s aim is to make the children
self dependent. The children are given vocational training classes.
Our clinic in addition to addressing the school children, teachers
and staff, has undertaken to provide medical facility to the
surrounding villagers free of cost. Special care for women and
child health issues are being addressed. The doctor visits the
school on every Saturdays. General check up is done to new students
who join the school.
Periodically talks and awareness programmes are conducted. The
medical expense of the school per month was Rs. 50,000 which
reduced to Rs. 5000 after the clinic was started and this was a
case where surgery was necessary.

Dodanallala, Chikkanallala, Doddadevahalli, Ummulu, Hoskote
Taluk
Four villages
around 25 Km from Bangalore had been adopted – Doddanallala,
Doddadevahalli, Ummulu, and Chikkanallala- by SOUKYA Foundation.
All these villages are in Doddanallala Panchayat in Hoskote Taluk.
The doctor visits every Thursdays and conducts medical check ups
and medicines are dispensed to the patients. Regular talks on
hygiene, food, lifestyle etc are planned. Women from these villages
will be trained in dispensing medicines and giving the villagers
knowledge of diseases, medicine and lifestyles.

Depot, Shanthi Nagar, Bangalore.
The Holistic
Homoeopathy Clinic at KSRTC Depot was inaugurated in Feb, 2009,
with a vision to treat and prevent respiratory diseases due to
exposure to dust and automobile exhausts in the workers of the
depot, drivers and conductors of KSRTC. The clinic is functional
thrice a week. Consultation and medicines are free for the
employees and their families. The patients with respiratory
conditions are examined and Spirometry done to determine their lung
function capacity. Medicines are given and follow ups are
planned.

HHC Home Guards was
inaugurated on Jan 1, 2010 by Shri M R Srinivas Murthy, IAS,
Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, Government of
Karnataka. The clinic is giving medical consultation and medicine
to personnel’s and families of Home Guard, Civil Defense and
Fire & Emergency Service at a very nominal cost. The clinic
functions thrice a week. All major and minor health issues and
chronic issues are taken care of and treated with Homeopathic
medicines. The patients are given awareness about health and
importance of diet and exercise. They are given training in
breathing techniques and yoga.
